The creation of this website did not happen overnight.
It resulted from months of reviewing public records, court filings, county records, engineering documents, correspondence, and investigative reports connected with litigation involving the Sheffield Homeowners Association.
A licensed South Carolina investigator assembled a detailed investigative report examining issues that included easement ownership, HOA standing, access to governing documents, and selective enforcement allegations. The report also documents correspondence from Lexington County Public Works regarding maintenance responsibility for certain easements.
A separate Civil Rights Analysis prepared for defense counsel reviews disability-accommodation issues, Fair Housing Act theories, the chronology of communications, and recommends additional investigation while expressly stating that it is an attorney work product rather than a judicial finding.
These documents raised important questions that many homeowners believed deserved public discussion.
